River & Rowing Museum

The Café at the River & Rowing Museum is open daily from 9.30am – 4.30pm.

Breakfast will include:

  • Freshly made juices such as Beetroot booster and Riverside Revival – made to order
  • Smashed avocado with chilli & lime on toasted sourdough
  • Eggs Benedict
  • Delicious freshly baked pastries from Flourstation

The lunch menu will include:

  • Free range chicken salad, lemon & herb Israeli cous cous, pomegranate and pea shoots
  • Roast butternut squash, red and white quinoa, feta and toasted pumpkin seeds
  • Home made soup with freshly baked Flourstation bread

Children’s menu options include:

  • Fish finger sandwich & coleslaw
  • Sausages and freshly cooked mash
  • Pasta with tomato sauce and cheese

A range of delicious cakes, scones and tarts will be available, freshly baked by the café team!

A stunning contemporary building on the banks of the River Thames Set amongst trees and meadows in beautiful Henley on Thames, the River & Rowing Museum offers a unique venue. Have drinks on our beautiful terrace and dine in our stunning glass fronted Thames room. We pride ourselves on our personal service, and our experienced events co-ordinator will work closely with you to ensure that every detail is exactly as you would wish. We offer a range of delicious catering options, and can accommodate most special dietary requirements.

The Museum has two dedicated event spaces, plus opportunities for Gallery use:

The Thames Room A stunning glass fronted room with river views and private terrace suitable for parties, weddings, lectures or conferences with a seating capacity of 110 people.

The Henley Room A boardroom with a capacity of up to 18 people. Can also be used as a break out room for the Thames room.

The Rowing Gallery Available for evening receptions and dinners with a seating capacity of 180 people or 300 people for a standing reception.

The Museum is easily accessible by train, bus, car or boat. You can view our exact location on our contact page. Car parking at the Museum is free for all guests attending an event here.
